Establishing Our Eco Council: A Step Towards Sustainability

We are thrilled to announce the formation of our Eco Council, comprising enthusiastic children from Years 3 to 5. This initiative is a vital step in supporting our school’s commitment to sustainability and addressing climate change. The Eco Council will actively engage in exploring essential topics such as recycling, gardening, and various eco-friendly practices that can be implemented around our school. 

Through this initiative, our pupils will not only learn about the importance of climate change and sustainability but will also have the opportunity to propose innovative initiatives that can be adopted within our school community. By integrating these hands-on experiences, we are aligning with the national curriculum’s emphasis on environmental education, equipping our students with the skills needed to tackle global challenges.
